The Finger Lakes Trail crosses Van Amburg Road about 1/2 mile north
of the Crooked Lake Ecology Center. We are located on the M12
map section of the trail. The main Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) runs
from the Pennsylvania-New York border in Allegany State Park to the Long
Path and the summit of Slide Mountainin in the Catskill Forest Preserve.
The main trail is 580 miles long. There are six branch trails and 29
loop trails and spur trails that extend from the main trail. Including
the Main Trail and all branch, loop, and side trails, the Finger Lakes
